Introducing the NEW Rejuva Lift at Dermatology & Laser of Del Mar

Give us an afternoon, we will give you back ten years. Dermatology & Laser of Del Mar is excited to offer the Rejuva Lift. Rejuva Lift  is a combination therapy customized to give you results you’ve been looking for.

What is the Rejuva Lift?

Rejuva Lift starts with Ultrasound skin tightening (Ultherapy) to regenerate your connective tissue as well as stimulate new collagen and elastin. Next is fractional laser resurfacing to treat brown sun damage pre-skin cancerous lesions, rough texture as well as fine lines and wrinkles.

For those in need of additional smoothing and tightening around the eyes or mouth, the Re:Pair  Fractional CO2 laser will be added to  soften lip lines and tighten the delicate skin around the eyes.

Before and after Re:Pair co2 resurfacing for deep perioral lines and texture.

The last step in the process is PRP.  Your own platelet rich plasma is reintroduced into the skin  to accelerate the healing process and enhance your overall result. PRP uses your own platelet rich plasma to stimulate fibroblasts and the production of collagen and elastin. The PRP is a very important part of the entire treatment process as it will accelerate your healing time and improve your overall result.

Botox is also included in the Rejuva Lift. The overlying skin in the treatment area will become smoother as collagen is able to form in the existing lines and wrinkles, lessened by the Botox.

Is this like a facelift?

A face lift will not change the quality of your skin or improve your skins health.

While the degree of tightening and lift you will achieve from Rejuva Lift is  less dramatic than a facelift, the Rejuva Lift will improve the quality, texture and tone of your skin; a facelift will not. Rejuva lift  will significantly decrease any visual and sub clinical photo damage.

The Rejuva Lift is designed for patients who are not quite ready, or have no desire to undergo cosmetic surgery. It is also perfect for patients who have had previous face or neck lift procedures and want to maintain or enhance the results they achieved.

The Rejuva Lift can be customized for the millennial patient who is interested in maintaining their youthful appearance and good skin health.

What is the recovery?

Recovery is very simple. You will be moderately red and puffy after your procedure. Within a few hours the redness will develop into a bronzed appearance as your skin prepares to exfoliate. By day three post treatment you will start to flake and peel as the damaged top layers of your skin exfoliates away. You will be fully healed within 5-7 days

Our professional staff will send you home with a customized post care kit. You will cleanse with a gentle cleanser, apply a specialty serum and moisturize/sunscreen for about 5-7 days. You will then be able to re-introduce your regular skin care regimen.

As part of the Rejuva Lift package we will see you at 3-4 weeks for a follow up visit that will include a complimentary Dermal Infusion treatment to restore moisture and balance your skin.

How long does it take?

Plan to be in-office for about 2.5 – 3.0 hours total. Some of this time will be for preparation, then treatment, lastly post-procedure care.

How long will this last?

Whatever gain you achieve will not be lost. The results will be long lasting, but you will of course continue to age. Once the treatment is performed you will start to see improvements at about 7 days and you will continue to have new collagen forming, lifting and tightening in the skin for up to 6 months.

Can you have this procedure more than once?

Yes, results from the Rejuva Lift are additive, so you can repeat the procedure to either increase your results or to maintain your results and create your own anti-aging phenomenon.
