Skin Cancer Treatment

Board-certified Dermatologist Deborah H. Atkin, MD, has more than 20 years experience in diagnosing and treating skin cancer. Skin cancer screenings are recommended yearly, and more frequently for any unusual growths or changes on the skin.

Skin Cancer Surgery removes malignant growths in the skin, as determined through biopsies. Removing the skin cancer prevents it from spreading to other parts of the body. Dr. Atkin will do this in a very comfortable, thorough, and cosmetically sensitive manner. In some cases, Dr. Atkin can prescribe topical creams for superficial types of skin cancer. In addition, Photodynamic Photorejuvenation may be an alternative to surgical intervention.
