Skin Cancer Screenings

Deborah H. Atkin, MD, board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology, recommends full-body skin exams as a critical method of preventing and detecting skin cancers.

One in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime, with more than one million people being diagnosed each year. When detected early, skin cancer can be successfully diagnosed and treated. An annual full-body exam with a board-certified dermatologist is the first and best defense in maintaining healthy skin. These exams are quick in-office procedures that do not require any downtime. Dr. Atkin is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer. When was the last time you had your full-body skin exam?
