Vascular Birthmarks or Port Wine Stains
Vascular birthmarks include arterial, venous, and capillary malformations. Although some may occur as part of syndromes, most (such as port wine stains and hemangioimas) are not serious but can be cosmetically undesirable to those who have them. Angiomas, small red bumps, may occur on the body in many individuals
These birthmarks can be successfully treated with the Vbeam pulse-dye laser and the long-pulsed YAG laser. The treatments are very effective and result in little or no discomfort or down-time.
